Embryo Courier Direct From Pakistan to Iran
Hand-carry transport for embryos, eggs and sperm directly between Pakistani and Iranian fertility clinics — not routed via the UK. We coordinate with your chosen clinic on each side, prepare the documentation your case needs, and travel with your specimens the whole way — cabin baggage, never cargo.
How the Pakistan-to-Iran Route Works
Four stages, start to finish. Nothing improvised at the airport — every document is prepared before we travel, and the specific routing is confirmed once your city and clinic are known.
Consultation & Documentation
We confirm your Pakistani clinic's requirements and your Iranian clinic's import process, and prepare the export authorisation, import acceptance letter and customs declaration this specific route needs — in English and Farsi where required.
Clinic Collection
Our courier arrives with a pre-charged MVE SC 4/3 dry shipper. Specimen identity is verified using dual-witness protocol with the releasing embryologist before anything moves.
Cabin Transport, Manual Inspection
The courier carries the sealed dry shipper through security, requesting manual inspection rather than X-ray at every checkpoint, and keeps the vessel with them throughout — no hold, no exceptions.
Tehran Arrival & Clinic Handover
Customs release documentation clears the tank on arrival in Iran. Direct, witnessed handover to the receiving embryologist completes the chain of custody, and you receive a delivery confirmation message.
The MVE SC 4/3 Dry Shipper
Every Pakistan-to-Iran collection travels in our own validated MVE SC 4/3 cryogenic dry shipper, maintaining −196°C without external power for well beyond the duration of the journey.
The unit is DGR-exempt but still requires airline approval on a per-booking basis — we arrange this directly with each carrier's cargo or dangerous goods division ahead of every flight. It travels as cabin baggage at all times. It is never checked in and never sent as cargo.

Planning a Transfer From Pakistan to Iran?
Tell us which clinics are involved on each side. We'll explain exactly what's involved and what each clinic needs to prepare.
Established Clinic Relationships on Both Sides
We coordinate directly with clinics in Pakistan and in Iran, so collection and delivery are planned around wherever your treatment is actually based on each side.

Two Regulatory Systems, One Chain of Custody
Clinics typically require a signed collection agreement, patient consent documentation, and confirmation from the receiving clinic before a transfer can be arranged. Customs procedures at each end of the route need to be prepared for in advance rather than handled on the day of travel.
This is informational and educational content, not legal advice — requirements and processing times can change, and every case has its own circumstances. It is strongly recommended to verify current requirements with each clinic's regulatory or legal team before relying on any timeline.
On our side, we prepare the courier documentation pack for the route — release letters, import acceptance letters, customs declarations, and chain-of-custody records — and coordinate the collection date around both clinics' readiness.
No sanctions apply to medical biological transport of this kind. We do not comment on Iranian law, politics or healthcare policy beyond this factual point — our role is limited to the logistics of moving biological material safely and with the correct documentation.
0% X-Ray Exposure — We Do Not Permit It
This is not a hedged promise — it is a hard operational rule. We prepare full airport security documentation and request manual inspection at every departure and transit point on this route. If manual inspection cannot be secured, the shipment does not proceed through that point. There is no risk-based exception made to this policy.
Pakistan to Iran Route — FAQ
Do you run a direct route from Pakistan to Iran, not via the UK?
Yes. This is a direct Pakistan-to-Iran transport service — specimens do not route via the UK. We coordinate collection at your Pakistani clinic and delivery to your Iranian clinic as a single, dedicated corridor.
Which clinics do you work with in Pakistan and Iran?
In Pakistan, we coordinate with a network of clinics including Genova Infertility Centre, Australian Concept Centre (ACIMC), Omar Hospital and Cardiology, and Aga Khan University Hospital. In Iran, we coordinate with established Tehran clinics including Nikan Hospital, TebMed and Royan Hospital. If your clinic on either side is not listed, tell us and we will confirm what's needed to work with them directly.
Will the tank go through an X-ray scanner at any point?
No. We do not permit embryos, eggs or sperm to pass through an X-ray scanner at any point on this route. We prepare full airport security documentation requesting manual inspection at every checkpoint. If manual inspection cannot be secured, the shipment does not proceed that day — this is a hard operational rule, not a best-effort promise.
Are sanctions a barrier to transporting embryos to Iran?
No sanctions apply to medical biological transport of this kind. We do not offer commentary on Iranian law, politics or healthcare policy — our role is limited to the logistics of moving biological material safely and with the correct documentation.
What documentation does a Pakistan-to-Iran transfer need?
This is informational and educational content, not legal advice. Requirements vary by clinic on both sides and typically include a collection agreement and specimen manifest from the Pakistani clinic, an import acceptance letter from the receiving Iranian clinic, and customs declarations for both countries, prepared ahead of travel. It is strongly recommended to verify current requirements with each clinic's regulatory or legal team before relying on any timeline.
Is Embryo Links the only courier operating this corridor?
We are the only specialist courier operating a dedicated Pakistan–Iran embryo, egg and sperm transport service — a route we have built specific documentation and clinic relationships around, not a general international lane we occasionally cover.
Do you provide the shipping container, or does the clinic?
We travel with our own validated MVE SC 4/3 cryogenic dry shipper. It arrives ready to be charged with liquid nitrogen at the collecting clinic ahead of collection.
"We didn't want our embryos routed through a country we'd never planned for — we needed a direct path from our clinic to Tehran. Embryo Links explained exactly what both clinics needed and handled the whole journey without a single detour. We had confirmation the same day they arrived."
